In the event of an accident, you can find your BPJS number on the profile page of your app. We recommend that you give this number to your loved ones / next of kin, in case you have an accident whilst at work or on the way to work/on the way home. In the event of an accident, Workmate will help you with any administrative requirements, such as working with your employer to provide evidence you were on the way to work and therefore can be covered by BPJS.
In the event of an accident if you are physically able to you should:
- Contact your manager
- Go to the nearest hospital with BPJS coverage
- Based on the hospital requirements you may need to pay out of pocket first and claim to the BPJS after, or it may be cashless (meaning the BPJS pay the hospital direct).
You should familiarize yourself with all the hospitals in your area and what arrangement they have with the BPJS.
