Workmate now shows you exactly when you’ll be working every day, and allows you to request changes to your shifts within the app. With this feature, you can plan ahead and manage your life and work balance better.
How can I see my updated shift schedule?
On a weekly basis, you will receive a notification from us about your new shift schedule. Tap it for details. You can see the details of the shift that has been assigned for you, including the start time, end time, and the client.
What should I do next?
Take a look at your assigned shift schedule carefully, when you are certain with it tap to confirm. This will be your shift schedule for the week.
I’ve seen the shift schedule and I want to change it, how can I do it?
There might be some instances where you are unavailable for your shift at a certain time. Don’t worry you can request a shift change on your app, even after confirming your shifts. This can only be done if your shift is at least 48 hours away from the current time.
To request the change, tap on 1 shift that you want to change. On the shift details page type the reason and preferred schedule, when you’re sure with it tap request.
Please also inform your supervisor in person about the request. Once the request has been made, the shift manager will review it, and either accept or deny the change. In either case, you will receive a notification about your updated schedule.
